This is good news. Maybe now we'll see more bolt actions on the field.
It's really a pretty good idea- gas bolt so it cycles easily, and it uses a TM hop-up so if it isn't accurate out of the box, there are many aftermarket options.
Also- why no Lee Enfield or Springfield? All we're seeing is new versions of guns that have already been made

Iron Airsoft is making a gas Enfield....If you think about it all, major factions are being covered rifle wise, excluding Japan....G&G Kar98k, Zeta Kar98k, ICS M1 Garand, Zeta Mosin, SHS Mosin, and Iron Airsoft Enfield. Except for the Springfield and Arisaka, we are generally seeing a huge increase in upcoming, affordable rifles.

Good point! Maybe the thompsons, mp40's, sten's and other smg's would lower and maybe Gas rifles would dominate, but winters would suck....

Curious to know, if it is $160 for JUST the stock... or is that an estimated price for the completed model?

If you check the website again, it will prove that it is magazine fed and it will show a prototype of the scope. It also reaffirms that the price will be $160 for the entire model. ETA- April 2012

One thing going for gas is the more realistic bolt racking though...

well if this bolt is anything like the Tanaka bolt, then i would not put all my trust into it. i have seen recivers warp after single skirmishes. and the bolt realease wears out instantly.
