I would like to present a preview of first on the World VIS wz. 35 (aka Radom Vis or P35(p) ) pistol constructed as full GBB gun. This prototype utilized some modified parts of 1911 GBB (the same family of pistols, in fact - cousins) youtu.be/9x-GrzbRXXQMore details on request

The whole story. Reassembly of ASG GBB Vis (or P.35(p) or Radom P35 or Radom Vis or Radom "Eagle" Vis).

... What materials did you use? I forgot to give the answer. In this particular prototype (let's call it No 01) the basis was TM M1911 with its overall design (as it was in reality of 1931) but the shape was altered by home-made metal putty from any good epoxy resin and 50% of metal fine powder. When necessary (the layer > 2 mm reinforcement pins were used located in 1 mm channels drilled in appropriate places. Reshaping was done by high speed grinder and (of course) Dremel. Now the No 02 is on its way. Improved, with more metal parts (instead putty) made from scratch and properly located and fixed. No 3 (an example from preproduction series of approx. 140 pistols) that differ from otherswith the slide shape, hammer and markings on the slide is also planned.

Well, Now the third is coming. This time from limited series of 130-140 preliminary series. These pistols features a distinct rear shape of the slide and hammer and they are lacking of the de-cocking lever. This one replica is half-way. One may ask - why Russian service? I am answering - ImageShack suddenly (for me) stopped offering thumbsnails and I have to load there now at the size it should be visible on the page. On the other hand, with the upgrade to FF12, they send me each time a comment - not available preview of your uploaded file. They also do not offer animated gifs but Russians do. Adds - who cares of adds. Technically - the customization= shortening the slide, adjustement of the slide shape (top, sides, shell ejection window, front and rear sights, redesign of the recoil spring housing/barrel bushing and recoil spring assy), adjustement of frame (the angle of grip, the angle of magazine, grip safety, rear part of the frame), adjustements of grip plate's location, etching of markings (Yes the markings in originals were etched not stamped or rollstamped), barrel (outher - shortening and reshaping of the locking lug, inner - shortening to fit to the outher one). Just couple of ten's of hours
