If you need help with something, why not post it here?
Posting a link to somewhere else seems odd, sketchy, or just plain bizarre.

He wants someone to donate a gun to him and at their expense send it to him in Turkey. I already have a PM from him asking me. Well, while we are at it. If anyone has any spare cash laying around I would be willing to pay the postage to send it to me.

As I said in the previous post, to purchase a gun in the US would not be worth your time. I would advise that you purchase a gun in Europe, I can guarantee it will be cheaper.

It astounds me sometimes, how people complain a hobby is "too expensive" Too expensive? Save up more, pick up overtime, sell off some stuff.

It is probably illegal in turkey, and he wants us to BUY him one, and then send it to him at our own risk.
Anyone want to donate a car to me? I will be able to get a permitt next year. I will pay postage ;D

Anyone want to donate a tank to me? With a live gun? It's illegal, but they'll never find out

For the cost of the hobby there is a valid point if you are going ALL out. I am only in it because 1/2 of my stuff was given to me. After a gun and repro gear (if that is the standards for some games) There can be almost $400+ invested. Fortunately as I said, alot of my gear was given to me. As a 20 year old with a part-time job it is hard to justify an expensive hobby when car payments are due!

Can't you get a job? Won't your parents buy you one or something?

Yeah, although I have 2 jobs, and am very limited on money, I do not ask for stuff. To soa, I am not sure how to go about getting a gun or gear, something may have been lost in translation but because you are new to the forum and we do not know you yet, your request to have a gun donated to you is off putting to many including myself. Aside from that, we just do not have the resources, but I am sure many here would be glad to give you advice on how to get started!

Thanks for your reply, I only ask it. Not illegal but expensive I am a student. Not worker and Turkish state is not give money to youngers. Well, save up! I'm 13, and I've got (almost) full kit + 3 guns(2 working-one only for parts/props) So all i can say is SAVE UP! You can get a spring gun for $15, if that's too much for you, this hobby isn't for you.

Also, It's the same with me wanting a tank! I can't afford one, yet I'm not going all over the internet and making a web page asking "Can someone kindly send me a tank? I don't have one, and really want one!" like you are. Please, I have no problem with your web page, but on this forum, I am amazed this thread hasn't been deleted.

He said "a gun" which could mean WWII or a WWII kit so it's relevant.

Exactly, save up. If a hobby is not worth the $$$ to put into it then don't do it! I learned that with a few hobbies. I do not call myself a WWII "reenactor" since I am not down to stitch correct. TRUE Reenacting is hard to afford unless you are HEAVY into it. Here in Tampa, Florida there are few people who actually even know when WWII even happened...or it existed....So a $400 dollar costume for conventions is not justifiable. What I would do to live where you guys do! Well, at least there is Civil War Reenacting...but I do not think you don't take kindly to black power rifles at airsoft games xD

He said "a gun" which could mean WWII or a WWII kit so it's relevant. Goos point...but this is better in one of the sections like "After the battle" or something..or even better- on a general airsoft forum. Just sayin' this isn't the section or forum, I think
