It's a bit off but seems to be the best alternative for. A skirmish able carbine. The spare mags at $25.00 would add up pretty quick and at 20 rounds each you'd need a bunch of them. It appears each mag could be housed in an actual shaped carbine clip without too much trouble although they would be a bit too fat. Obviously the scope mount would need to come off and a little work on the receiver area would have to be done along with adding sites. Using actual parts is going to add roughly $80 and of course the expense of several magazines to use as housings. By the time you get it shipped, get say four spare magazines and add the additional stuff needed to make it look decent you're going to be in it pretty good. I wish I knew for sure that it functioned well and is reliable. 400 to 420 FPS would be more than you need for a semi auto carbine

I'm also waiting for an "actual use" report. It looks like a killer base to work from. I bet it would look good in an original carbine stock.

It's based off of a 10\22 Ruger. And from reviews on KWC's version it is very reliable

The straight mag appears too long for a ww2 carbine which is why I was thinking the shorter curved one (if encased in an outer sandwich shell created from a real carbine mag) would look better. this really is intriguing. Does anyone sell just the guts without a housing since all that of course would be wasted.

I've been looking but noting so far. Perhaps one of the other guys will have better luck. For my money, if you are going to discard all externals, this will be the way to go.
