There are 2 types of scopes that I've seen on Kar98ks: and I'm not sure if they're both ZF41 scopes. The first one looks like the one I've seen on Call of Duty: WaW and Enemy at the Gates (Major Konig's rifle). That is a Dboys Kar98k with the first scope. That picture is a screenshot from a youtbe video of the rifle with that scope. The second one is like the one Viva Arms and Tanaka made for the Tanaka Kar98k. www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/AdvanceSearchResult?productname=zf41&brandId=&search=true&productcode=zf41&mode=simpleI want to know if the FIRST scope is available anywhere and which one is more correct. Thanks guys!

Much appreciated. Will they fit an airsoft Kar98k? Or should are there certain scope mounts that I need?

The scope on top is a modern scope.

The ZF39 was the one that I was looking for. Forgive me, they look kind of simillar at first glance. I just want to know if you need a certain kind of mount for an airsoft rifle.

If you're lucky enough to get original (or repro) mounts, you'll have to drill and tap the receiver to attach the mounts.

Top one is a modern one like he said, and ZF39's go for like 250-600 depending whether its Repro or Original. ZF41's are cheaper but not as good for a Sniper scope. (1.5x Magnification vs 4x Magnification.)

ZF42's were usually issued to Marksmen or Sharpshooters(Just people with REALLY good aim), and they weren't as powerful(Like schmozilla said) as the ZF39's. An actual Sniper usually used the ZF39 variant
