alright. i went out to fire it today after leaving it around for a few weeks. and as i pulled the trigger nothing happened, it did fire once like 10 seconds after i pulled the trigger now nothing happens, i took it apart and the switch on the bottom of the handguard might be the problem. Its cutting the Motor i think. any ideas?

Its cutting the Motor i think. any ideas? Try a different battery first. If not that its probably the wiring. If not the wiring its the motor. When I rewired mine I just got rid of the whole safety switch part. If you end up re-wiring it I'd switch to a deans connector. |

alright ill go charge another battery, ill update the results Mine did that,I just bypassed the on/off switch. Just unsolder the connections and shrink tube/solder the two wires together. I screwed the switch back on just as a filler, but it doesn't do anything. |

You didn't happen to buy this MP 40 from Airsoft Megastore did you? I've had to return the last 2 I bought from them in the last 2 month's....So beware....I think the Airsoft megastore has gotten a bad batch of MP 40's...And they don't refund or reimburse you,no matter how many bad ones they send you...

That's the miracle of cheap Chinese mass production and cheap transoceanic shipping. It's cheaper to ship out another one than to pay someone to fix it, or even do decent quality control. I wonder how much faith the Peoples Liberation Army has in their equipment?  |
