Hi,
My ST ppsh isn't working correctly. It's EBB isnt working, and the bbs drop after 10 feet. Anyone know what the problem is?

How does the gear box sound? Normal, a little bit of grinding, tension?
The ebb could of easily of been broken however the bb's dropping after 10 feet seems like a serious compression issue.

I cannot really say how it sounds, since usually you hear the loud rattle of the EBB.

What were the symptoms leading up to the issues? Did it all of a sudden stop functioning properly, or did something happen to the gun that caused these problems? Perhaps dirt is in the action, a good cleaning could not hurt.
Did you lose compression all at once? When you dry fire, can you feel air coming out of the muzzle?
Did the EBB stop at the same time as the BB problem? Did the bolt sip off the EBB nub? Open the gun up and ensure the bolt slot is over the black EBB nub.
Do BB's feed OK? If no, you might have a tappet plate issue.
Do the gears make a grinding noise?
It's really hard to diagnose the issue without going through methodical checks of components to determine the issues.
Not sure if I helped, but these are the things I check for when I have problems.

1. I lost everything at once, while I was firing during a backyard skirmish.
2. There IS air coming out of the muzzle
3. yes
4. No, I don't think, but I don't fully understand what you mean.
5. the mag is screwy, but when it did work, I assume they fed alright, since they came out and were dropping after 10 feet.

Also, everything stopped working at the same time, even the mag.

This allows one bb at a time to enter up from the hopup chamber into the barrel. If the nozzle does not go back and forth then you have a broken tappet. If bb's feed fine, then you dont have a tappet problem. Did you clean the entire gun and magazine? if the mag does not function then you might have sand and dirt inside and thus preventing feeding. If the BB's feed fine and only go 10 feet, then the rubber bucking on the barrel might be torn. Check your bucking.

By air nozzle, do you mean hammer? Sorry, I'm knowledgeable at uniforms/gear, but don't know crap about guns. Why wouldn't the EBB work too, then?

S&T's warranty is BS. Ive been on their case for almsot 8 months to get me a spring for my ppsh's semi auto function. They stopped answering emails and long distance phone calls around december.

The nozzle sticks out of the front of the gearbox. It pushes each BB into the hop up. Look down into the magazine chamber and you should see it. When you fire the gun you should see the nozzle move back and fourth. If I were you I would disable the blowback completely. If you don't want to fool around with your gun take it into a shop. If you want to fool around with it make sure to look at a bunch of tutorial videos. See the thing pushing the BB into the chamber? That is the nozzle. This should give you an ok idea on how your gearbox works although it is a different shaped one. Airsoft guns are a pain if you don't know what your doing, and they are sometimes a pain even if you do. I wouldn't give up on it so quick though.

gettin it fixed in a nearby shop right now. Turns out, there was a lot of debris inside it(idk how it got there-gunna ask what it is from when I pick it up) and a gear broke. Theyre trying to find a metal replacement now.
