Here is my jab at creating a VSR-10 to Kar98K conversion, this picture is not the final product. I am using a DBoy Kar98K for parts that are too hard to make myself. Schwerpunkt's Kar98K's inspired this project! No the reason as to why I made this....What is love? Taking your own time, sweat, and money to build a custom VSR-10 to Kar98K conversion so your girlfriend can play on the opposite team (German) as you because she wants to. This is love! My lady is glad to have this, we are building her kit still, pics to come!

I am excited about building this! Schwerpunkt, do you make your own bolt handles? If not, where do you get them?

i make my own bolt handles. I have developed two ways of doing it. The more complicated method involves using the DBoys bolt handle and attaching it to the VSR or Bar-10 bolt ring using a tap and die. This way looks very good but must be done very precisely or it will fail. The second, more reliable way that I currently use is to only utilize the VSR or Bar-10 bolt handle and reshape it through extensive cutting, sanding, filling and molding with JB Weld untill it looks like a mauser curved bolt handle and then add the bolt knob on the end. This way is very labor intensive but in the end it produces a more reliable outcome and also looks very authentic. ill post some pictures of the bolt handles soon for reference.
