I have a cuff title, and being Heer I know it is worn on the right sleeve, about 15cm high. But approximately which way should it face? If my hands are by my side, palms at my hips, should the cuff title be completely visible for someone to see looking at me from the side? Also the band is really long, with the writing taking up about the middle third, do I fold the rest behind or take it off? I'm guessing folding it since it is BeVo

The sleeve depends on the type.
The only common heer right hand cufftitle is 'Grossdeustchland'.
campaign titles like 'kreta' and 'afrika' and 'metz' are worn on the left (some gebirgs units took part in crete, as did a panzer unit).
They should be slighty off centre so that if you are facing someone you can read most of it. Just google some period pics, its clear to see in them.
