Cloud gun MG-42

I was browsing youtube, and came across people building airsoft cloud guns inspired by Halo. I was thinking of building one of those, and sticking it into an MG-42 housing. Anyone think it would work?

Here is my build in an MG42 housing. I made an 80% copy of my WWII MG42 and inside of the MG42 "shell", I inserted a Ruger 10/22 rifle which will shoot .22LR semi-auto. Here are pictures of them with the real MG42 in the rear of the pictures.

I have built several cloud guns and i think that this project is do-able. If i were to attempt this build i would make an inline vortex chamber instead of cloud chamber, a vortex chamber will increase accuracy and range but will take a little more work. The only problems i can see with this build is fitting the blowgun valve into the pistol grip and figuring out where all the hoses that connect everything together will go, but with some clever engineering i think you could work these problems out.

The other obvious challenge is that the ruger 10/22 shell is 3/4 scale.

That MG-42 is sick! If only I had one of those... Squirrels, say your prayers. Don't think it'd be the best thing to shoot people with though... I need to get myself and my friends working on the airsoft version.
