There may be a section on this topic already, but i have a cyma thompson that im looking to upgrading the internals for better durability. I aldready have replaced the bushings to full metal ones, but im wondering what type of cylinder head, spring guide and air nozzle will work with this gearbox. I know its a version 6 but i've heard that it has v3 parts but im not 100% convinced. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, andrew

There's no real need to replace the cylinder head and nozzle. Just wrap teflon tape on the treads and underneath the oring on the cylinder head and you're done. nozzle is decent enough. I think it will be hard to find a nozzle with an oring for the thompson though. You can insert an oring into the stock nozzle or modify another nozzle to fit, but in my experience, unless you're shooting hot, the gains this mod gives are very minimal. So you can just stick to the stock nozzle. Replace the spring guide with one with bearings, version 2 will fit. Teflon tape the hop-rubber-barrel junction and you're all good to go.
