About:
Just now really getting into historic era airsoft games, having played several run by CharleyNovember and Team BlackJack. WW2 era has quickly become my favorite ruleset, with a developing interest in Vietnam. No accurate impressions of note yet, though I'm developing a proper British para loadout and have plans for a proper commando kit as well.
Big plans for developing a small arsenal of ww2 limey conversions (though I understand that talking about plans before starting a build is fairly poor form - so i'll leave it at that).
I've found many of the threads regarding conversions and custom guns to be a big source of inspiration for venturing out on some projects of my own. Hopefully I'll be able to make my own contributions, and give a bit back to the community here in those regards.
Cheers!

Thanks guys. 101steasykid, I know nothing about this event, and it depends if it clashes with one of my re-enactment events. I'm assuming it's an airsoft event? Re-enacting is where my priorities lie. I'll search for the event and have a look see.

Hello all! Name: Michael Hill
Age: 14
Impression: German Infantry
contact: mikehill4@gmail.com
Location: Central NJ
Hobbies: airsoft, track, cross country, playing guitar, drums, music, scale models, collecting military stuff, building random things, movie making
Airsoft Gun(s): Cyma Thompson and Ak-47, 2 TSD 1911 Co2 pistols, spring m14
Ive been reading these forums for a while now, especially the technical section.
I would like to get a small unit going, but it's hard to find cheaper things for impressions. The hardest part is finding cheaper helmets. Anyone know of cheap German helmets that look good when painted or with a camo cover?

Hey i'm new to ww2 airsoft, but not airsoft in general. Info Name:David O Location:Grayslake Ill (near Gurnee/Waukeagan) Impression: No TRUE ww2 impression. I have a set up that looks like a ww2 uniform. It makes me look like the German Sniper in Enemy at the Gates. I think I'm gonna go 2nd Rangers or 4ID, though.
Guns:Mp5 (can't remember manufacturer either UHC, UTG), M14 springer, couple of crossman p30's
Occupation: Delivery Boy
Other Hobbies:Camping, Backpacking, VideoGaming, Hanging out, Pyrotechnics
I'm short on cash now, I have maybe two - three hundred dollars spending money right now. I'm thinking on buying a Medic impression and a $20 springer M1911 and useing that until I can buy a real gun. Have also thought about a Chaplain Impression but not to much use for those in airsoft. I really want one of 2nd Bat's M1903, if I can get one then I'd become a Marine.

First of all, I hope I hit the right "post reply" button since I really haven't worked with forumns, threads, and posting. But anywho, if right or not::
Hi there, I'm Ron Benek, age 19. I'm from Waycross, Georgia and love airsoft, and WW2 so I'm glad I found this forumn. Also, after having read through alot on the forumns before joining I have learned more in one post than in my highschool history class. Anyway, my impression I plan on doing is that of Das Heer. So far all I've amounted to is an M40 tunic and an M35 helmet. Money has been tight, but since it's pouring in a bit more nowdays I am able to buy more things to add to it now. Recently I just bought a pair of jackboots from At The Front, so I hope they're worth it. Hope to play airsoft with a few of you guys soon! Oh yeah, and as for weapons I plan on buying the Tanaka 98k
