WOW! 4,255 views on this thread, figured we would have a few more players though 40 is excellent and will be very manageable!

I am Pleased to announce operation 1940's Phonograph has been a semi success! the only shortcoming was having the turn table able to run on batteries.
Maybe someone can help me how would I run an AC turntable on a DC (batteries?) power source?
I was able to use the original speaker for a completely authentic sound the turntable will spin when plugged in and looks really cool!
I Cant wait, not to far away now boys!

I could bring J..... B..... B.... P...... rounds and shoot the 60mm from the parking lot. And hit the footbridge on the opposite end of the lake... Although the CRUMPPFFF noise would draw attention of law enforcement personnel. ///ed///

No it is just a regular household plug, I'm not sure of the voltage is there a place I can look on it? This thing is from the '40s!

I just got everything needed to make 60 juice-bottle grenades for the allies. I'll spray paint 'em tommorow. It's up to the event coordinater(s) if we can use them or not.

I have a CCC Grenade (1 Pineapple 1 Stick Grenade) if you'd like to use them as a body for it. The Stick is white, not painted.

Juice bottle grenades are really simple and get the job done perfect IMO. They're those awful tasting kid's drinks you can buy at the grocery store and come in little barrel shaped bottles. We fill them up with a small black powder charge and fuse in my reenacting unit then spray paint them OD. They don't win style points but when they're mid-air or blowing up...it doesn't really matter. That's why I made a few WWII correct MKII's that I wear for that purpose.
I won't add any pyro to them (unless the event coordinators say so) and instead can just fill them with a little sand or whatnot. If we give every one of the allies 1-3 of them they can just stuff them into their pockets...or we can just not use them at all. I may charge like 50 cents a peice just to cover making them.

Yeah, let me speak with Josh and Sean about the possibility of allowing the use of some, not all.
I am just thinking to myself… With that many grenades in the hands of the Allies… the Germans will be placed at a large disadvantage. Not to mention the mortar barrages and the bazooka’s etc. that people plan on using. That isn’t even to mention the 2.25 to 1.00 reinforcements in the Allies favor. Yep, the allies will have 2.25 re-spawns to every 1 re-spawn the Germans have. And to top that off… the German forces will have to hold their territory to use those re-spawns, allowing the Allies to possibly cut off large amounts of re-spawns the Germans get. And the German forces may be spread thin to cover the huge amount of territory they are to hold which basically might allow the allies to make a single concentrated attack overwhelming a field location early on.
In my personal opinion, I don’t think that many grenades are necessary. But then again… sounds interesting… I like a challenge!!!
Ok... no pyro tech. But... what about the grenades?

I think the Allies should look into Satchel Charges because German defenses are mainly sandbag bunkers in this game, correct? It would also help to take out the MG(s). The offer still stands, one Pineapple and one Stick Grenade hollowed out from CCC.

Suppressive fire, artillery, and/or grenades were the most common method for taking out a MG position. <YD>

Okay, I still would like an answer on the grenades though. I am in the process of filling them with water, just to see how they work.
