Alright I was thinking boy would it be cool for me to be able to use my Tommy on patrols with the stock detached and only the drum with a few 20rnd mags as backup, well tonight since there is so much room inside the Drum mag Im gonna see of I can take the wireing out of the stock and wrap it around so that I can hook it up to a battery in the drum (all of this reversable in the field of course) that way I can build a sout impression up for use with only the my drum and my 3cell pouches with 60rnd mags.

Download them to Photobucket and then simply take the link and copy and paste it here. How did you go about building your mag?

Very nice, I wish I had thought of replacing the back slide before I glued everything in place, I may go in and rip it all appart to do that.
Your Drum mag looks great, glad to see someone else made a reall cap mag, although it is 5rnd short of the magic 50, it looks great and will forfill the job perfectly.
Will you be attempting 20rnd mags at all?

Yes, I am planing to make a drum just like yours. I am also going to to try to make a 20rd mag that holds 50 bbs. Did you order your round drum pouch TommyGunner? How is it?

The most you can get in the 20rnd mag is 40ish, I made one as an experiment and 40 kinda fits but there physically is not enough room for 50rnds.
I not as of yet orderd the Drum mag pouch, my birthday was a few days ago and I got some cash so thats one of the items I will be buying, plus an M1923 belt and a medic bag set/yolk and a 30cal.

Nice, clean work. I was thinking, I've seen the angled styrene panels to hold the ammo "up" in more than one of your conversions. Couldn't you leave one side just shy of reaching the outer drum wall? Then you could fill the lower dead space on the mag with more bb's, and just flip the gun once or twice to refill the upper chambers?

question: where did you get the drum mag?i cannot find it anywhere since they say it is sold out. i plan on using this mag for my airsoft games since the capacity for bbs will be awesome. also i have the M1928 spring. would i be able to switch outer barrels?
thanks.
