No don't get a gas mask, if you get a gas mask you couldn't use it in combat becuase it's not safe. Work on you field gear, boots, pants, helmet and cap. After you get that if you want get a gas mask but it will be a waist of money. When you get older and if you get into blank fire you could get one.

The Sa wasn't completely disbanded until 1945. Before the war, it was superseded by the SS, but it still existed. Just significantly lower in power. It barely had life in it, but it still existed.
