Hi Stuka, they were bought in a local shoe store. We were in a hurry to outfit our new IJN recruits for the show and thus didn't have time to have proper ones made. Yes, the soles are quite Flaggrantly Wrong, but that was the closest match we could get at short notice. Some of the older guys have custom made footwear from local shoemakers.

Same spheel as my other post, been here over 5 years and have not posted a single kit pic. This is my basic German Grenadier loadout. Missing a few key components (Gasmask Tin and Mantel) but I'd say I'm getting close. RS Kar98 standing in for rifle until I can find an airsoft one. Just need to get everything worn and dirty! (Also, I apologize for my weird stare, normally wear glasses and am blind without them). Will take some outdoor pics with winter wear here in the next week or so. Also I apologize for my horrid photography skills, hopefully I can get some better ones at some events this year (When someone else is taking the pictures lol)

Looks good man though I see one glaring inaccuracy. Quit holding your weapon like a M4. They weren't held like that. They held their weapons anyway that was comfortable. The modern style is really an uncomfortable way to hold a weapon. Otherwise your impression looks good!
