Very nice. STUKA The inclusion of Pacific Theater impressions is great. The mix of weapons is so nice to see! Sgt Shaw very cool having such good looking Eastern Front impressions representing both sides. The OST FRONT boys up in Wisconsin would love you!

Other than the beard, only 3 problems I see. first, why dot pants for heer? second, NCO should be leading the squad, NOT using the mg42. Lastly, the guy with the mp40 and tropical straps, why aren't his straps hooked to his pouches? other than that, you guys look pretty good!

He fell through the ice of a vernal pool before these pictures were taken. Only made common sense to warm up and not risk hypothermia. Guy with tropical straps his pouches were hooked up to them. The straps you see are the ones that go to the back that would hold an A frame. I did lead the squad all day. These are pictures taken for FUN post game. I did not rock the MG42 all day. I used mp44 and ppsh all day.

Also, the brown leather holster might be inaccurate. But if this is an early war impression and he's an officer, then it would be acceptable as officers did brown leather earlier on. And since the greatcoat isn't part of his kit as you stated above, he might have an officers uniform underneath the greatcoat. But then he should be in charge, not the NCO. Is his impression an officers?

Pretty sure his SS belt buckle was a piece of crap and broke a while back (like many poorly made repro items from China). If you guys would like to send him a new belt buckle I'd be more than happy to give you his address he would probably really appreciate it. Until then he can be a farb with his brown belt.

Oh no, I'm not trying to be too stitch nazi like. The description of the thread said that this was a great way to get advice to better your impression. And I'm just trying to help. I mean, my impression isn't complete yet either.

But I'm pretty sure you guys were previously aware of your small inaccuracies. So I will be done. Those pictures are better than mine!

But about the beard, I have seen some pictures of Gebirsjäger sporting beards. Kind of hard to shave there on the Eastern Front at times.

I had a great picture of a German soldier with a nice beard! Ah, I wonder what happened to it. But yeah. Most of the soldiers were clean shaven, but it's always great for someone to portray the exception.

Been a bit since I posted, so here we go, just about ready to post in the "stich-nazi" thread 1: The "Fur Volk und Vaterland!!" style photo, way to optimistic for me lol . If anything I'm proud of my well done SIX HOUR stitch job on my collar tresse. My thumbs still hurt thinking about it. 2: My favorite: "Oh crap you have a camera" picture 3: "TF: Mako" My local airsoft team, one of us is a little bit of the "odd man out" 4: Post game "pose with the guy from the opposite front" photo, though I was using my new Thompson in anticipation of my upcoming allied kit Inb4: yes my hair was shaggy literally got my hair cut after the event lol, to damn long for German impressions and my life in general!

Your hair is fine. Your impression no doubt garners lots of comments and hopefully some interest at modern airsoft events. It is a really cool look.

I love it haha!! (though you should chin up a bit lol!) Well after people get over with the "lulz u nazi" and the goose stepping/salute, it definitely is a head-turner and I love educating people who ask about it! Thanks! And a few people have been interested in it since, I love helping them.

Looks awesome! Only piece of advice, Heer never wore M40 sidecaps, they wore M38s, M34s, or M42s

Danke!Needs a little work but Afrika Korps doesn't seem to be a hard impression to do.Though I need a new gas mask canister and mess kit to spray paint it in desert camo but that wont be till a later time.

Just a question: why DAK?

I always liked how unique the uniforms of the DAK were compared to the rest of the Heer.I love the cut of their 1st pattern tunics and its pretty comfortable.Compared to the Waffen-SS and in some aspects of the Wehrmacht (especially the ones that fought in Ost front) were more honorable because of Rommel's command.

I have also thought about making an Afrika Korps kit at some point as well =P
They just look pretty cool too IMO and the Afrika front was pretty cool as well. Anyways, it looks like a good start luftwelle93

You could just paint that gas mask canister.

Cool, that's one less thing to buy then.I also learned that those tan zelts were hardly used in North Africa, mostly just splinter zelts.Getting the boots is my challenge as Hessen seems to have run out of their tropical ankle boots.

Lots of soldiers in the DAK hated lace up boots. You could get the low boots and gauges and you'd be fine.

Good score,I'll do just that when all else fails.I also have dust goggles that looks very similar to ones issued to Heer (but this one is post-war made). The actual DAK goggles don't seem to fetch up that much to what I see.
