The subject says it all. "What's your favorite war movie?". Or make a Top Three War Movie/Series list (any number up to .... 20), if you don't know. Pre/Post WWII counts too. Thank you.

Downfall- Best foreign film of all time! (cant think of the name its a foreign film made in france about the French Jews that were deported when the nazis occupied france during the early part of the war VERY GOOD foreign film.) The harmonists Tae guk GI- Hoodude, I believe thats the name, its a sad movie but is very good nonetheless! Schindlers list A Bridge too far Patton I suppose SPR is good as far as gore...

ah, mediterraneo is very good! I don't recall any battle scenes though, which was a bit of an upset, but it is a very good story none-the-less. My favorite part is where they are playing soccer on the beach and the plane lands on the field and they learn that the war is over.

i know its a musical, and maybe its my feminine side showing, but has anybody seen across the universe? it has a lot of beatles music in it, and if you like vietnam, you'll love this movie. its not about the battles in vietnam, but how some people tried to dodge the draft, but had to go in anyway. it deals a lot with the hippie scene, which i am a part of. yeah, yeah, i'm a hippie, but hey, its all for the better! ;D

M*A*S*H isn't a movie though just a TV series. I enjoyed the Bridge over the River Kwai though.
Attack is a good one. They have it for free on IMDB.
