EBB? For an enclosed bolt? So basically, it's going to be a "jiggly door"? Phththththht! This gun doesn't need fuzzy dice, it will sell just fine on it's own merit. Why do companies feel it's necessary to attach some type of gimmick to WWII weapons? Just give us reliability and appearance, in that order. ;D

If it's still reliable, the idea of a moving bolt makes me giddy! GBB sweetness with the reliability of an AEG! I can dream, right?

The reality is for the application of airsoft the Pacific Theater would probably be the most appropriate. Close in, small unit encounters, fought to the death in many cases. Maybe the series will renew or inspire some interest. On the other hand Europe and Eaastern front can be waged all year long.
The PPSH when successful. ( I know it will be) will inspire further efforts in the WW2 arena. Success begets success and I have to believe the clone Thompson, MP40, and MP44 have been successful. I bought at least one of each!

The PPSH's are still being used around all over the world , the most recent pics of them i have seen have come from Iraq and Afghanistan , but i have seen them in person being used in Sarajevo by "soldiers" from the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1992. They have also shown up in the hands of Drug Cartel "soldiers" in Colombia and Mexico. Cuba also has a large number of them in Storage , just in case.
So all this PPSH's being manufactured by this companies is great news not just for people putting together WWII / Korea and Vietnam imp's but also opens the door to so many post war imp's

Yeah and thanks I like to learn things and the best way is to hear it from yall(pertain to the stuff about the 1903) Anyway I don't see a bright future for the Ares PPSH because of this amazing hexagonal productions PPSH model with its 1500 round drum mag and 1200 RPM...with a range of 40-50 meters at 350 fps for good measure I have become a huge fan of this new company and I am really considering there gun....If its affordable of course Anyway thanks again and merry Christmas to yall!

true, just like we would need an k98 before and FG42. >> EXACTLY! Considering only about 7,000 FG-42's were ever made. But judging from everyone on here, they would all want one! I cringe when I think of whole squads of STG's and FG-42'a!

I think we all need to step back and take a breather here. It's starting to turn into a brawl of words and this isn't even the topic to do it in. PPSH-41 discussion should go here. Merry Christmas!

Well as soon as they are available i am getting one for myself since i am getting together a Soviet imp , plus my early Bosnian War Armija Republike Bosne i Hercegovine (ARBiH) imp would look so much better with a PPSH than an AK.

Hahahahahah I guess thats one way to say it. Petes got a point with the FG42 comment. The difference is that unlike the FG's limited service the PPsh WAS the main Automatic gun besides the SVT(and when I say auto I mean gas operated). It was as common as the garand in some respects. Over 3 million of these things were made and entire platoons were equipped with SMG's because the Russians saw a true potential with the gun and hell I can't blame them when you have such a great gun! And for the record I did say SOME RESPECTS because after all the M1 Garand had almost double the numbers but you can understand what I'm getting at. Same for the SVT. Either way I think it is not a good idea to produce a springfield over the garand and I think it is a great idea to produce the PPsh as it is a very important gun for the Soldiers of the Red Army.

So all this PPSH's being manufactured by this companies is great news not just for people putting together WWII / Korea and Vietnam imp's but also opens the door to so many post war imp's Like I said in my introduction post, I'm here on this thread to learn more about the guns that end in hands of revolutionaries/insurgents during the Cold War and even now (besides AKs and G3s). So I'm really interested in photos of the PPSh in use by revolutionaries/insurgents after Korea. I know they were supplied to Vietnam, but I haven't seen it in their hands though. I've seen it used in former Yugoslavia, but only in movies. I've seen the picture with the red-dot on the PPSh in Iraq, but not actually used. And this is the first I'm hearing about Mexicans with it. I'd really like to see pictures of this. Not that I don't believe, I just want to add that to my collection. You can email me or answer in a different thread, since this is supposed to be an Ares PPSh41 product discussion. Thank you.

There is no question the PPSH is a great choice for a weapon that will support a wide variety of impresssions and time periods. I definitely will buy one for that reason alone. That and it just plain looks badass and I want every WW2 supplied weapon to be as successful as possible.

Yeah so here is the question:
Do I buy Ares or do I buy AGM or do I buy HP?
For me I know I'm goingwith the HP design because I support growing companies and it looks really nice. Plus they seem to be really profesinal and as we all know other forum members have gone on to the market and have sold some amazing guns(for new people I am reffering to 2nd Bat's M1 and Gryphon's PPsh and mosins) So what about you all, who are yall going to buy?
