I gotta go with springer here, maxim. Hot, cold, humid, dry, they always shoot. There's nothing to leak, and FPS is predictable.
I gotta believe they're cheaper to make, too.

I agree a springer is the best choice in a bolt action in a snper role but I'm still a huge fan of the AEG platform. I'd love to see a Tokarev M1940 or the German G43 semiautomatic rifle on the market.

So would I, along with the Garand of course, but I would much rather see springer Lee Enfields, Kar98's, and Mosin Nagants.

The Garand still is at the top of my list (I'd love to be put out of business!)
The G43 frankly probably makes the most sense (though a fairly rare rifle) Becuase it is rare it is generally unavailable and extremely expensive so a replica would be desireable even outside the airsoft community. The magazine feed means you could support the (I gotta shoot a million rounds) mindset and the feed system could be more easily activated in a realistic manner. The Tokarov would be a logical spin off
I know for a fact the business case for a Garand exists and would be happy to provide input and advice but I think the business case for a G43 is even more compelling given the airsoft reenactor and collector community.

A bit off subject, but I don't know about you guys, but I love my King Arms magazines and I just emailed King Arms pitching the idea for short M14 magazines for M1 Garand Conversions like the custom shotgun magazines. I emailed King Arms specifically because they also produce Kalashnikov magazines that fit in Armalites, so the idea is similar. M1 Magazines for M14 The email is: info@kingarms.com If no one has announced a Garand AEG yet, and it takes around a year to fully produce an AEG, I thought magazines would be nice to tide us over, and couldn't take nearly as long to produce.

The g43 would also be a bit more logical to have than a k98 because i'm sure that some people will not want to use a springer due to the lower rate of fire, and so would buy a garand instead. then there's fewer people to play as the Germans.

It would be nice to get a few more russian and british arms out, I'd like some Japanese but I think I'm the minority in that case.
A Bren would be nice as well as a mosin, I'd really like a nambu type 14 though

kaiser-I'm part of that minority too...I do believe i've seen a type 14 or two before, but they're probably expensive

i think they should make a STG 45 Really? out of all the uncommon weapons of WWII you want them to make the weapon that Mauser only made 30 examples of?

Actually, for bolt action rifles, what you guys prefer? Tanaka Gas system, or springer? Max Is this a hint? We can only hope. Perhaps continuing the Russian trend, a Mosin?

How about a 1903, or 1903-A4 with a repro Unertl, or weaver scope.

Hell yes, I think we could do for an affordable BAR, an M1 garand, a cheap, but well built K98, a G43, and an M1 Carbine. But not one that screams post-war. No lug, "L" sight, single set of holes in upper had guard, push button safety, and a flat bolt.

Yes mainly a Kar98 and M1 Garand. I know an affordable B.A.R would be popular not just among airsofters but among collectors because it is a more rare and expensive gun. Matrix is supposedly making a B.A.R, so if they ever release it that one will be done. As 2nd Bat said a G43 would be popular too.

On topic, though, ya I'd love to see some japanese guns as well, but lets be realistic, the market is extremely small for some reason.

In my opinion we need
M1 Garand G43 K98
Reason 1 There are SOOOO many US players that all of the M1s would be gone within a week....no more like a day. Also there are TO MANY THOMPSONS out there so arming the US with a weapon that was more prevalent in WWII would be a logical choice.
Reason 2 The 2 German rifles listed are needed because there aren't enough German players and frankly I WANNA SHOOT ME A GERMAN!!! lol but the G43 is very rare and as stated above would have a very wide market in terms of airsoft, Blank fire, static displays and such that it is a very logical choice. Now the K98 NON SHELL EJECTING would be great because I think it would spark a lot of interest and I have been wanting to do a German impression for several years now and have been waiting on a nice K98 to come out with a decent price.
That is just my 2 cents.

Alright off topic but I am going to disagree. In this particular forum and in context of WW2 I don't feel it is. It's the shortening of Japanese not the same as calling someone a yellow bastard or zipperhead or Asian soldier those I can see, and I would question someone saying that. Jap is not a race it's a country. I wouldn't get bent over someone calling Garands Ami Guns or me an Ami The same way Kraut guns, Jerry guns and Bloody Yanks should not be offensive. Would I refer to my friends from Japan as Japs no. I do own a Jap bike though and I don't get offended when people call it that. personally I just refer to it by Suzuki or "The Couch" I mean we can go round and round about this but really can we all step away from the politically correct koolaid for a minute. I understand it can be hurtful to some people but really some people just want to get up on a cross for any old reason that suits them.

I will echo Elders statement. At present I have bought every WW2 available weapon I could (including the BAR which is making me carzy) and will continue to do so as I want to encourage their production. I love your PPSH and highly recommend it to others. If your new offering is even close to as well done it will be a winner no matter which one of the above suggested weapons it is.
Thanks for your ongoing support of our hobby and for caring enough to visit our site.
