Adler and Mango are buddies of mine. Mango is now doing the Army thing for real (I tried to talk how out of it, really, I did), but we all belong to the same living history group. I have done "leg" so long I don't even have any scanned photos, but it's my primary impression. I also don’t have any current "everything I own strapped to me" photos as after 30 years in re-enacting and several years of active duty Army, I now travel as light as I can at events. I guess I need to get some current photos of all my gear. Adler can confirm I have EVERYTHING I need for any impression I put on. Here are a few of my photos, Mango is in the top one, Adler was also there, but was with the Vietnam group so he wasn't in the photo with us WW2 folks: This is Adler and myself in my 1944 Willys Jeep, photo taken by Mango with my camera: The cool thing about this photo (below) is that my "loader" was actually a SPC in my company in the Army, I was a Platoon Leader and later on a Company XO, we served together and also was in the same living history group for a time! And here's my WW2 War Correspondent impression: And I thought you all would find this funny: And Mango posted this earlier, that's me on the right, mocking Butch, who stands like that all day at events:

More of my War Correspondent stuff: This is a pretty rare Underwood, comes with the fold-out legs that were a very expensive option in the mid 1930s. The case has just minor wear but the machine itself looks like it was made within the past few months! I use it to make all my reproduction paperwork: (the middle typewriter is a very rare Hermes, the choice of all USMC war correspondents). And my "ride" with all my other implements of destruction:

Tommorow being veterans day...I decided I should go out and take a few pictures before it got dark. So here's my 26th inf div., 104th reg., B. Co. impression. In a quick defensive position, mabye somewhere in Belgium or along the rhine Here's a few things I'd like to mention just so you guys don't have to. -I'd like to get a gas mask bag, a lot of guys carried personal items in them. -I'm WAY too clean. I had to have my uniforms pressed and cleaned for a veterans parade/unit's 90th aniversary ceremony last week...haven't had the oppurtunity to get them good n' dirty again. Also shaved today already so I couldn't get a "few days without a shave on the line" look. -I'm not really showing off any of my personal items, got really nit' picky with my equiptment setup, or got a really good looking picture. I had to snag in a few quick shots in before it got too dark. Questions? Comments? Criticisms? All are welcome. -Tim *pics fixed*

Figured it was time to bust out the ol' snow camo and m43 jacket once again as the snow was falling. Here are my pictures. I went with the bed sheet for snow camo, i still havent found some lace that looks old enough for my helmet. Im thinking about possibly getting a german overwhite parka for my snow camo but i like the sheet. I also have white wash for my pot when i want to go that route. The gloves are actually hand/field made, i have heard stories of guys doing this so i did it i took two pairs of my socks and cut the right one up so it was a trigger finger mitten, and then the left is a normal mitten. I also am using a german EM belt to hold my pistol holster up, as i have seen pics of guys using these belts for random things, and have heard stories of it being done. BUT PLEASE dont every one go and get one Yes i know... i am not very dirty looking but it is 1030 at night when these were taken and it was on the fly. I will get more detailed pics of my winter/bugle/rhine impression later maybe. -Cary

First pic of a photoshoot that Airsoft international magazine did of our team/group and few of their regulars. Although i think this technically breaks the stitch rules we *had* to wear safety glasses due to the nature of the magazine. This pic copyright of airsoft international magazine, i've just borrowed it from our forum to show you guys. Look out for two forthcoming articles feauring our chaps as 'no2 commando'. In the pic are Pete and Dave as our bren team with an AI member in the background.

Got bored tonight after finishing finals and threw together a quick equiptment inspection basically to get a look at part of my infantry impression. I'd probably outright fail inspection but here it is.

Took a couple pictures over the weekend. They are at the local VFW where we did a display over Memorials day to help them raise some money to fix the place up. Its me, waldo, and azeeze. We took about 15 of the pictures trying to get the right one... and we couldnt get one that worked haha, but these are probably the best out of them. Action Shot and edited The second is a pretty good one i think and edited Waldo Blinked.... -Cary
