So what did you accomplish? It’s still a hi-cap mag. Does it hold more? Does it even work

It seems like no matter what date you pick it's bad for some. Sometimes it looks good on a calendar and then realize it's Mother's Day,Father's Day or something else is going on in the area. July 15 & 16 isn't going to be good for some of us because of "Invasion of Normandy" paintball game in Pennsylvania. I try to make WW2 games if work doesn't keep getting in the way. I hope your dates work for me next time because I had fun last time even in the cold weather

I actually checked airsoftgunrepair.com again and they had it in stock! I ordered one last night. But when I looked again this morning, it's sold out again... so who knows if I'll actually receive one. I suspect there's a problem with their website... My best bet at this point is to find a junked one and pull its mag release. One can hope! you can buy the M1A1 lower body W/latch from them for $5 more than just the latch

I had a great time on Saturday. It was my first WWII event and my first outdoor airsoft event. I thank Migs for putting this event on. I'm glad Nate and Nick had a bunch of loaner gear to help the people without gear. I also want to thank Nick for making a phone call to track down the Thompson I loaned out but was left on the field and not returned. It was cold but if you dressed for it it wasn't that bad. There wasn't any snow on the ground to get you wet so that helped a bunch. The cold caused quite a few gun problems but most were worked out one way or another. A lack of Germans caused a few issues. Some had German gear so they switched sides before the game started, and a couple of us became Germans in US gear like in "the Battle of the Bulge". It sure caught people off guard at first but they rebounded fast. I think if the WWII airsofters support the Nam soft events it will help get more people to show at WWII events. Or if a few ware WWII gear and play with the general public at some event it will also get some attention. Stay safe and hope to see everyone again soon, Jim

If you have to light a fuse, I can't imagine any place will let you use them for the fear of starting a fire or burning someone.

I'm planning on going if work doesn't get in the way again. ATF has a bunch of stuff on sale this weekend so I'll grab a few things to use

Hello everybody, I've never played airsoft before but I do play paintball. I am thinking about trying to make this event if possible. As long as the gear requirements aren't strict I should be ok. I like the WW2 paintball scenario games so this sounds like a good time. Jim
