Achtung!- Welcome to the WW2AA "Stitch-Knot-See" picture thread! Please participate and share with us your outstanding impression images! This section is meant as the 'showplace' for your Axis uniform and impression images. We want to continue the strong WW2AA tradition of active member participation and give you a place to show off not only your hard work at creating an excellent, correct impression, but also your ability to 'tell a story' through pictures about your character, your unit, or an event that you have attended. However, what military activity would be complete without some rules?! So here they are: Stitch-Knot-See images must be: -In focus: Exceptions to this rule would include photographs specifically attempting to mimic original period photos, as often they were not in sharp focus due to the equipment of the day or action- However unless you are editing the image to black and white using photoshop or a graphics editor for that exact purpose, they need to be sharp. -Contain no "anachronisms": I.e., photo's taken in your backyard and you can clearly see the AC unit next to the house, or your buddy Josh standing next to you holding a skateboard... Remember, these images are supposed to be your 'best work' at creating your impression, your 'character' and allow you to show off your work- Please don't let yourself or us down! Well, that's pretty much it for rules, they aren't to difficult to understand or deal with I don't think. Ok, so you have your assignments- Now get out there and start taking pictures!! Slainte! -G

I was bored Saturday night, and decided to experiment with a little night photography. I felt like I was sitting for one of those old photos, as I had my camera set for a 15 second exposure lol. These ones turned out the best, as I guess I was fidgeting around too much, so the others are a bit blurryer(sp). Just having a little midnight snack on Guadalcanal.

Not a very good pic , but it was taken on the move and while it was raining , we where shadowing a group of 3rd Armor halftracks and jeeps , when they got to a cross roads we opened fire with 1 Panzerschreck and 3 Panzerfausts , plus an MG34 and an MG42 , at the end 3 halftracks 2 jeeps and all the infantry support were dead, it only took about a minute.

Here I am trying to be the evil SS man. As you can see, I am naturally such a good person, that I just cannot be the evil one. So here I have adopted a proper late-war attitude "We're not doing this for victory, we're in this just for the fun" Surely the missing sling is not enough to throw this into the workin' on it thread? It appeared that I had rented or sold all my Mauser slings. Even the rifle was straight from the shop shelf, as all my own rifles were rented to a theater group. There can be nothing wrong with the background, because there is no background
