Ok , maybe a hard one or an easy one, depending on how much you know about FJs. After the Eben Emael mission, every FJ that took part on the assault on the fort itself was awarded the Knights Cross , except for one. Why didn't he receive the award?

He loaded his canteen with schnapps, so was drunk on top of the fort!

Kurt Student was the German pionner of it, but Billy Mitchell came up with the idea back in 1918 , he wanted to use bombers to have the entire 1st ID drop behind German lines.

Norway + Denmark (same operation and day IIRC but you might be counting them as 2) Belgium (Eben Emael and Albert Canal) Holland Corinth Crete Tunisia Sicily Gran Sasso (Rescue Mussolini) Elba Monterotondo (capture Italian high command) Leros (Operation Leopard) Ardennes
So I have 12 or 13...are you also counting the SS fallschirmjagers assault on Tito's headquarters? That would make 13 or 14...

Yeah. I was born in 92 and I understood that. Don't under estimate the younger generation. I mean we are researching wartime during the 1940's, I think we could look back a few years and watch a few episodes of loony toons. My personal favorites are the early episodes that they show during christmas time, that are based during WWI, WWII, and after the great wars.
Example would be Hitler flying an airplane and the Gremlins were destroying it peice by piece, and also the one with the chipmunks who built their on colony out of old helmets, and learned about man's past mistakes from the war.
Sorry to be off-topic. Next question anyone?

Yes, it all can be. This was just my experience from when I was younger. I remember my brother and I would stay up during the holidays watching cartoons all night. Cartoon network would stop airing modern cartoons around 1:00 AM, and from then on, until around 8:00AM, they would show classics. I wouldn't go out of my way to research a cartoon.
Also, alot of people may just goggle the questions in this thread. They don't have any knowledge over anyone else, they are just alot faster on the search engine. Back on topic.
