So, here it is. Basically, this is a game where members get to test their knowledge in anything military, but there's a format! Use it, please. A single question will be asked to start this off. Any number of people may answer, but don't answer the question after there has been another correct response. The person who asked the question will tell you whether or not it was correct, and the person who answered may then give their question. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
So, here it goes.
Who was the Medal of Honor intended for originally upon its creation?

Incorrect. But, just to prevent a flame war, I'll explain it. www.cmohs.org/medal/medal_history.htmIt was originally awarded to enlisted Naval personnel and Marines, yet another Senator proposed and passed a similar bill three months later allowing it to be awarded to the Army. Go ahead and give a question.

There are a lot of people who have posed a couple suggestions in their answers. The right answer is up there (several times) but I need it as a single, committed answer.

Hey, guys. Please try to make this topic as clean and free of stupid posts as possible. And please try to limit to one answer, and make it educated.
Thanks.

Alright, this might be a toughi...requiring some study. In early 1945 a raid was conducted by US Army Rangers on the Japanese POW camp Cabanatuan. The raid successfully rescued 513 POW's, undoubtedly saving these prisoners from brutal execution. The raid's Commanding Officer was Lt. Col. Henry Mucci, and the actual Assault leader/director was Captain Robert Prince. Q: What was the name of the Filipino Captain in command of the guerrillas whose job it was to guard the Ranger's flank, destroy the Cabu river bridge leading to the camp, and also serve as the diversionary attack force?

I read this in one of my books I'm sure, I just vaguely remember the name Juan, but I don't remember his last name. I think it starts with a P, but I'm not entirely sure whether that is the man. So my guess, Juan P? -Dakota

Binary Punisher got it, since he said the whole name. Good job, Bin, your turn. (But yes Mauser, you were correct, but we kind of need the whole name. )

OK , well in 1943 , an operation was launched by the Germans that included the use of some rare equipment , can you name the comanding officer for the mission? what type of strange equipment was to be used? and what rare weapon was used in more numbers that had ever been used by the German unit involved in the operation?.
