Valterri,
That is such a refreshing admission (Three kills per 10 deaths) You sound like me. I play to have fun not to feel like I'm winning. To each his onw of course but it's nice to hear someone else who see's it as recreation not sport.

I'm waiting on mine as well. With Christmas and the hundred year flood we had here in the NW (I-5 was under 10 feet of water) I'm sure his order has been seriously impaired. Hopefully the guns come in dry!

The action of course takes some getting used to without causing a jam. The gun is surprisingly good for the money and looks great while performing decently. It would be awesome to have a game where the preponderance of players had bolt action rifles. The shell ejection is actually quite cool.
There are quite a few of them now in the hands of local players so we'll have lots of first hand experience (including game play) to report on. Thus far the only issue has been the bolt ball coming off of one but that was an easy fix with JB weld. (The gun still worked without it of course although it was clearly harder to cock.

Rkrueger, thanks for ordering one from us! I'm impressed. We are working on getting it to fire harder. Eke took his home last night and he will be working with the hop up and figuring out what we can do to get it shooting harder.
We chron'ed it at 280-320 with .25s the difference was definitely the shells - the shells with tighter fits for the bbs chrono'ed at 320 the loose ones at 280. Regardless I was able to hit a man sized target 3 out of 5 shots at 150'. So I would say very skirmishable.
I have some shells coming as well and will put them on the site when I get them. We are working on a real conversion of 7.92 shells. The shells that come with it are getting pretty chewed up on the ends - seems to be scraping on the metal when they are ejecting.

The bolts are not inter-changeable. We tried at the store with my RS Kar98. The airsoft bolt is to big.

It's great to see the cut away. That helps not only with this conversion but helps people visualize what they need to do if mounting a VSR type bolt action rifle inside a real Mauser stock.
Clearly this modifocation is much easier then a real stock and less costly in time and materials. The stain finish sown above is extremely impressive as well. What did the heavier Bbs chrono at I wonder using the unmodified DBoyi rifle?

Kapowwe has got these things for $159, although if gunner as them for $80 then that sound a lot more appealing, although I really don't know that much about gunner airsoft. Are they reliable? How are they on shipping and how long does it take?

I think gunner is in Hong Kong or something (maybe not?) and if so shipping would really raise the price.

Some quick thoughts - I've been playing with this gun for a while and I was initially disappointed but it's starting to grow on me. Since I've been able to make reasonable cheap rounds for it I started to work on accuracy and after backing the hop up out and then using only the shells provided shooting at a known target at 25 yds and than adjusting the hop up.. Today was calm and the gun was accurate enough to hit a man sized target at that range and out to 45 yds without to much loss of accuracy. I'm not thrilled with this rifle, but if we get an O3 or an Enfield it might behoove us to make it work.

There are burrs in many of the guns that are chewing up the shells and causing some jamming issues on many of the guns. You can feel whats causing it with your fingers by running them along the shell route. It's fairly easy to file these down which greatly enhances the smoothness of the action and reducing jams and wear on the shells.

I'd assume Gunner Airsoft would tell you that. It's hard to charge somebody for shipping when you don't know how much to charge them.

I personally don't see how anybody could consider this a viable airsoft rifle. My custom springer is great, but I consistently shoot at least 60 or so rounds out of it per game. The shells just make it completely unpractical. If somebody can figure out a way to cheaply convert this to a springer, I'm game. Unless that happens I'd save your money. For a long time I only played with ten shots per game in my K-98. I now have 15 shots with the addition of another K-98 magazine. I guess it depends on what you are willing to live with or without. For me, I’ll either get a tag out or two, none or I’ll get tagged out a lot. Either way I have a great time being a bb magnet so the MG can take up a position. Anyway, about this gun… Can anyone who owns one just let me know if it is worth just having as a backup or as a lender weapon? Also, are the wood-kits available and if so, is the wood-kit decent? one more thing! Does the extra rounds come with striper clips? I was thinking about buying a bunch so that I can put them in my K-98 ammo pouches as something to at least fill them with.
