Well, most of these people who do all of the crazy stuff are in extreme debt or are just extremely lucky with their wealth, like the dudes who have a bunch of tanks and all of the nice stuff. I hate those folks. They win everything and make us look bad. I'm gonna go cry in a corner now.

Well, seeing as Desert Storm, Nicarguar, Grenada Etc. are all getting older, any of you folks reenacting these? Who am I kidding, of course some are. With all of these high-tech Airsoft junkies in their $1000 wierdo modern kits.
So, any of you wanna go out in the boonies and recreate the Mother of all Battles?

I'm attending Cal Maritime, and I'll be up on Wednesday. Should have some free time on weekends, if possible. I managed to get a hold of an original USMC Utility coat, so it looks like I might go USMC, Corpsman, or something PTO.
However, I still need the blessings of the folks up there. I don't wanna start an impression nobody else is doing, I'd rather reinforce one.

Well, for a resistance impression, all I need is a Mauser, a homemade bandoleer or "Liberated" Kraut gear, and clothing that I could just get outta my closet. French, Dutch, Polish , w/e.
I used to be into the Armia Krajowa, and I've still got my white n'red armband.
But I'll probably just end up with a generic infantry kit.

He-hey, I'm back.
Hicks, you've got a 'Nam thing going? I've got about half an impression just with all the surplus crap I buy at the store.
As for my WW2 Impression, it's still not fabricating. I've got neither the cash or the time, but I think with this upcoming birthday, I might get lucky. The gun will be the biggest issue, but I'm still not keen on what I should reenact as. It's definately Allied, but that's all I have so far.

SC Village=Paintball and Airsoft place in Corona.
Yucaipa=Some tiny town next to Redlands and Moreno Valley. If you don't know where those places are, they are by Riverside and San Bernardino. If all else fails, look on Google Earth.

Well, the good thing about California is, there's plenty of desert and hills everywhere. SC Village holds occasional Airsoft events, and Yucaipa is very open to Airsoft folks. Though, I cannot find many other WWII Folks.

Well, it would be a tad different. Like game organizing, individual team boards, et cetera. But, it's cool.

6 Hours is better than going up to ah...somewhere else. Or we could meet up somewhere, like Corona or something. Like we all drive halfway. A Mutual Thing.

Well, I think what he's getting across is that marines spearheaded most of the Pacific front, as they were an assault force. As on Guadalcanal, the Army was mostly an occupation and clearing force, making Marines a "special occasion" branch. Not to belittle the Army at all, since they did well in Europe.

Funny how Schulz always carried around a Krag and some of the other guards would use Thompsons. However, I doubt most of the pbulic knew - or cared. I've got the first three seasons, and they're wonderful. Never get old.
