Yes I can see its a jump smock. But if hes in a Heer group why wear one? Unless he's the random late war FJ of the group.
The impression would be better with out it. The Gas mask can, folding shovle all, M42 helmet, Heer collar tabs, these thinks make me think Heer.

Wow. Nothing for two days, then BAM! Decimated in thirty minutes! Sheesh, feel the love. This is the " I'm working on it" thread, right? Let me start by saying I don't think I've done too bad, considering 6 months ago, the only part of that kit I owned was that jump smock, and it was free. (good eye Jager, it is a Sturm) Yes, Heer's the deal. ;D I'm wearing the smock because it was about 40 degrees with a 15mph wind, and I was cold. Please forgive this offensive historical inaccuracy, but I figured it was preferable to my Multicam parka. (although I have to believe that any cold soldier anywhere will scrounge anything to help keep his ass warm, even off a dead comrade. ) The helmet doesn't fit quite right because I have an odd shaped head. I wear a 56 cap, but the corresponding helmet shell is too shallow front to back for my melon. So I had to go with the next size up, unfortunately this allows some side to side shifting. Any suggestions on how to reduce/stop this would be greatly appreciated. And thanks for the feedback, I will always try to improve. Next 2 items; Greatcoat and boots.(everyone caught the fj smock, but them Corcoran jump boots went right under the radar! )

I'd suggest wearing your tunic with a sweater under it. Greatcoats look cool while standing there, but try moving "tactical" and they just plain suck. You end up stepping on it while crouched. I also have a small head size 56 aswell. I feel your pain, at least FJ helmets have a better liner.
The gaitors cover up the jump boots, they look pretty good. Its just the jump smock.

Ooo, good point on the greatcoat, I hadn't thought of that. I was wearing underarmour thermals in addition to the German undershirt, and figured that would be enough.(it wasn't windy at my house) It wasn't, the wind cut right through. (I'm a freeze baby, since my body won't store fat : I'll layer better next time, and replace these pictures with those.

If you get real cold all the time, grab up a parka set or just the parka top.

Migmad your impression looks pretty damn good, and I really like the Italian camo. This is kind of off topic but, how did you get your font to be runic for the SS?

Nice Impression Mig, I really like that you resisted the temptation to put insignia on you dots! What would make that impression is if you tucked you trousers into your boots and rolled your German issue socks over your boots!
The Italian/wool combo is lookin great, have your tunic taken in if it is sittin' too loose.
Is that yellow Waffenfarbe on your shoulder boards or is it just the light?
Cavalry or Signals?
Keep up the good work you look great.

Great FJ impressions. If you wanting a splinter B smock, the spearhead smocks are great. I do like the tropicals with the green step in.

Very cool Airsoftblitzkrieg. One thing, if I were you I would repaint your helmet. I take it your going for an early war impression with the M36, id paint your helmet with the 1944militaria applegreen paint. BTW, I havnt got around to taking pictures of the belt, but ill have them up for you tommorow

The shoulder boards appear to be bottle green like the collar. If so, you need to swap those out for SS black boards. And the M43 cap needs to go bye-bye for an early war impresion. Get you an M40 and you're good to go.

Thanks guys for comments. But it is still in process...many things missing. Yesterday I bought Splinter smock, not very good, but as a spare for some time so so acceptable.
