Thanks. It's owned by two of my friends, who are in the 21st PZ and 352 Inf. It's still a work in progress. It was built from the ground up. I've joined in the madness to help finishing the project up. We live in So. California. Those images were taken in the mountain over this last weekend. It was the 222 first appearance.
They are trying get everything done in time for a April DAK battle. But, we had alot of problems with the transmission and the interior needs to be finished.
The cool thing is a Gas Mg-42 will fit on the MG mount for airsoft events.
The 2cm gun is an original and uses propane gas for the BOOM. We are looking into a way for it to fire hard skinned "nurf" rounds.

That 222 is a "wet-dream" on wheels.

Ah its a new issue of kit see... thats why its so clean. Just had a refit before the big push.
Its very cheap Spearhead stuff, the original dot44 uniforms were pretty flimsy, in fact they withdrew form issue in nov 44 because its was unsustainable as a field uniform.

Nice pics Storm but the big thing that lets you down is the guy at the back has very un-soldierly hair.. Its definately too long for German.

Thanks I was really young, that was literally 12 years ago. The stg44 was a real one that I got to use alot back then, if you notice I was wearing one glove, thats because the 44 barrel gets really hot, and I was literally using it as a hand warmer. Great pictures everyone!! Heath, thats the best 222 Ive ever seen! Is it real? wow -Gordak

One of the most convincing pictures posted. If not one of the best. It's spot on!!! The 222 is a complete reproduction. Built exactly from a real 222. Again, well done. -Heath

Guys,
As you know Im not highly active on the forums and I dont have much say about whats going on around here but, id like to voice my thoughts. It bothers me when people post in the "stich nazi" picture thread when their pictures arent truly correct.
Wolfgang, you look great save for one problem. Chicken wire. I dont believe there is any photographical evidence of SS Soldaten using chicken wire for their helmets. You'd be better off with an Iron Wrap, a breadbag strap, and even a rubber band.
Krumlauf, your impression looks good. Theres only one thing thats kind off questionable. If you are portraying an officer or nco that means your taste would probably go along with your high pay of yours. Your trousers do seem a bit baggy for wear with those jackboots.Have them tailored to fit you. It cost me 30 dollars to have my m37 trousers Tailored and it was worth the money. It adds to the look greatly!

binarypunisher> not A and B, but 31 and 41 Splittermuster 41 was the luftwaffe pattern The Army (not the ss) used Splittermuster 31. Knee pads are seen used post-jump, but it's very rare. When someone have tried to wear the kneepads for a little while, they will understand why

MigMadavis it is a good start but I would take it down from the "stitch Knot see" thread and move it to the "Im working on it thread" Until you get proper gear such as the mantel and boots.
Like I said a good start though!

Davis,
Your MG pouch and holster are on the wrong sides. Possibly your spade as well.
Because I dont have the time to type too much right now please, everyone, make sure you put the best amount of research into your impression before posting it in the "Stitch Knot-see" threads.

Davis, looks REALLY good! It is hard to get a good "look", and you have done pretty well. Aside from what was mentioned already, I personally done see anything wrong (then again I am no expert). Also I really like the miss matched color of the wools.
