This is bullapplesauce ....Oh and I told you so...I hope EVIKE chokes on the interest they are pulling on all this money they are sitting on. I'd like to know where this info comes from because I think it would really be fair for EVIKE to update it's customers via email on this applesauce .

Bizcuits, some of us have other priorities with our hard earned money and don't have the luxury of spending over a thousand dollars on a toy- some of us do and I respect those folks that are fortunate enough to work and save and that $1000+ is just money spent on another hobby or interest, as some folks spend on boats, or motorcycles, or fast cars... Gordak I'm looking at you ;-) Yourself on the other hand seems to feel some lame-a$$ need to gloat or well, I don't know what- To you I say again, woo-the-f**-hoo, you will have spent in excess of $800, most likely in excess of $1000 bucks on essentially the SAME PRODUCT.... So yeah... I'll continue to wait, and wait patiently because in the meantime, I have bought a great many other cool things with the money I saved- This discussion is ended, thanks for being the 12 year old buzz kill that you seem to be..... Jebus *EDIT <because I can > BTW, I have 2 of these coming, I will do my usual aging and weathering job on them and then sell one, thereby making my money back because the 1st one is repayment from other work. You should weather yours to make it look more realistic...oh wait, what's that? you can't bring yourself to weather and beat up something you spent that much money on??? <me smiling on the inside, absolutely hysterical on the outside

When people are waiting for something they have payed for , it tends to get them agitated when he comes into the thread and starts making fun of them , it's not nice .

I feel for you guys, I'm waiting for it to be released too. I can't wait to stock up on low cap magazines for my BAR, which I'm not selling and luckily it was weathered nearly a year ago by the original owner. I look forward to your weathering review of your BAR, whenever it comes around. If you guys are getting offended by my comments, I apologize. I'm simply jabbing and having good fun (something you know you all do with your friends). Realistically release dates get pushed back it happens. Having been a video game enthusiast for over 10 years I've seen this same thing happen to many times to count. I've heard many of the comments about "collecting our interest" or threats to cancel your order from gamers for years. At the end of the day this is one of the risks with pre-ordering your game or gun. How do you think all the World of Warcraft players who pre-ordered their Expansion packs back in August feel when it has yet to be released? In short, as a psychology major, I'm a firm believer in learning to laugh at your mishaps, misfortunes and mistakes. Teasing yourself and learning to shrug stuff off will result in a much healthier life. You already paid the money, the item will come when it is ready if you are worried about the company pulling a fast one on you then cancel your order and wait for the release. When I tease you, use the opportunity to vent your frustration and remind yourself I paid $1000 for a gun and $50 each for 18 magazines. Your paying $300 for a gun and $20 each for magazines. So yes, I'm going to tease you... Why? Well of course, because I'm jealous and in a few weeks, months or years I'll be crying. Well at least until I get to compare the two guns side by side.

I just registered at the Evike Forums, and posted the following thread titled "Open Letter To The Owners Of Evike" www.evike.com/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=62&func=view&catid=23&id=97853#97853I would request that those that are interested, and are also waiting do so as well and contribute- Be respectful, if it turns ugly it will be closed or pulled very quickly- and will likely get pulled anyway.... LOL, but I think its important that they realize that this isn't cool, that we are working adults and young adults with a clue and the ability to 'vote with our feet' and make this very economically painful for them... It's complete BS that they want us to believe that they have no idea when Black Bear will have these guns available and we need to call them on that. "This is an open letter to the owner(s) of Evike. Although I am certain that this thread will either be locked or even deleted, I sincerely hope not, as this is meant as a respectful communication from your customers regarding an issue that is important to all of your customers, Should this in fact disappear, it will signal to those watching, and make no mistake, there are a great many of us, that Evike is not a retailer to support. The ETA date for the Matrix M1918 B.A.R. has now apparently been pushed back to 4/30, this is the 2nd such delay in this order. I placed my order as soon as it became available back in January, and I will continue to wait, however the following are some observations that I feel need to be addressed and your customers want addressed. - I have never, not once, received anything from Evike other than the order confirmation email when I initially placed and payed for the order- Why is that? I have spoken to several others that have had the same experience. I would have expected to receive notice from Evike that the product was delayed, at least once, however that clearly has not been something important to Evike. - I followed the customer inquiry message link 12 days ago to confirm, for myself, the 4/15 ETA of the Matrix BAR, yet it took me sending another 10 emails to finally receive a response. And I was told as recently as 8 days ago that the product was still on schedule to arrive on the 4/15 ETA date. Why did that happen? Why was my inquiry not promptly responded to? And why was I told that the ETA was still good at that time? You should know and understand that your customers are very understanding, however we are not ignorant of 'how things work'. Here is a "Fact" for you to consider: Walmart is a purchaser of Chinese made products, everybody knows this. Yet Walmart knows EXACTLY when each shipment from China is ordered, when that order is completed, what items are backordered, and when the shipment is delivered to the container facility, and when the ship carrying those containers leaves port bound for the US. Every time, every shipment. It is simply not reasonable that you would have your customers believe, that have invested their hard earned money with you now for going on 4 months, that you are completely unaware of when Black Bear Airsoft will have the BAR available to ship. Yes, we know who makes it for you. This is how businesses in America fail. By being unaware or even actively ignorant of how customer service works. And then on top of that, to add insult to injury, to assume that because its an Airsoft product, that somehow the constant laws of 'Supply and Demand' are not applicable. Your firm has been incredibly successful selling Airsoft toys in this economy, yet, I hear that the issues I have described here are not unique to this one product, that in fact Evike is gaining a reputation for delayed pre-orders, little or no communication with its customers, and absent customer service. How long do you expect to be able to continue these practices? Is this really a bet your willing to make? That we will continue to throw money at your business indefinitely regardless of how many times the ETA gets pushed back? The reality is, the Chinese Airsoft industry peaked over a year ago, and is now in decline. Everybody knows this, just like they all know that all you have to do is contact Black Bear Airsoft and ask when the shipment of 'X' number of BAR's will be completed. Actually, in point of fact, we all know that you already have that information and yet continue to move the date out a bit at a time, while the money we invested sits in your business bank account, earning interest. This is not a sustainable business model, I promise you. So we, your customers, sorry- your 'investors' because our paid-in-full orders surely amount to a great deal of money at this point in time, would require that the owner of Evike respond to this post. Further, we would require that he provide, in detail, the exact date that Black Bear expects the order to be shipped and available to fulfill your pre-orders. I would hope that the owner is invested in customer service enough to realize, acknowledge and respond to these issues and not have Cesar or another customer service employee respond. Please do not continue to insult your customer base with amateur excuses and made up dates. We are smarter than that, and we know that you are. Sincerely, Evike Customers"

Oh and as for bizcuits, ;D Ok I'll give him this one- this one... but look- don't BS the BS'er you knew full well that you were being pricky- if you didn't, then your as bad as these Evike goofs with their "Ohh we have no idea when the BAR will come!" I give you more credit than that, so exercise your 'better judgement' muscle next time there boot...

LOL! And already closed....ha! Closed by administrator saying "Airsoft is illegal in China and shipments get siezed" therby COMPLETELY missing the point.. So based on his logic, Evike will no longer be purchasing Airsoft guns from China? "Sorry, we are closed for business!" sheesh more to come.... *edit- Ok, for whatever reason, they opened it back up....

Ok, followup by board admin-
"I will forward this to the top. Response will come accordingly."
We'll see if remaining reasonable and professional as well as throwing in a few long, correctly spelled words has the desired effect...
>Tell us when the 'real' ETA from China on these is, and tell us BEFORE the date has come and gone.....

Yeah, I could understand if a week ago or so they could have said something BY EMAIL to those of us who ordered that its been delayed, but with no contact and just moving the date the day before, it's annoying to say the least. Truthfully, I am in no real hurry for the gun, I'd like to get it sooner then later, but I am not all that suprised it was moved back again. I just wish they would have done it sooner then the day before, and sent out emails to those of us who gave them our money.

The link: evike.com/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=62&func=view&catid=23&id=97853#97857That Evike reply was insulting and a crock of BS. First they know there is a potential problem with importing from China yet they still take your cash? Secondly, it ticks me off they closed the thread from others being able to write a comment... Commie bastards. EDIT: Hey, I just noticed that the Forum is not really a form of contact with the Evike owners. They have a post specific to this in the Evike board

Well it may not be a 'direct' link to contact Evike Chang, but it'll do lol... It is advertised and linked from the Evike online retail site.
They did pretty much address all of the issues and concerns I raised, while at the same throwing in a bunch of plugs for themselves being the alpha and omega of Airsoft in the US lol
It is unfortunate that they closed the thread, because I would have followed up with thanking them, while reminding them that this was all they had to do in the first place.
a couple interesting things I noticed:
"Evike.com works direclty with more than just Chinese manufactures, but all Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philipene, Korea, USA, Pakistan, and Japan."
...Pakistan??
"The M1 Garand preorder had always been set at Early April and it was last week the manufacture told us there will be delay due to Chinese Custom."
Whaaaaa?? whatchutalkinboutwillis? M1 Garand?
