m1944 goggles were not common until the fall of 1944. Ive seen a couple of photos of US paratroopers wearing them on their helmets during Market Garden.

Personally, I never liked SS uniforms. This is coming from a guy who doesent do German. I like the basic German heer with no camo cover on his stalhelm, and carries an mp40 or a k98.

Yeah i defently used it a little to much and with the youtube lag quality it makes it mega jumpy. I want to make a Korean War movie or a WW2 movie that takes place in the MTO.

Well Im not doing 101st airborne who only used m42 for about a month. I usually do 82nd which used the m42 jump suit for about a year. I have the standard m42 jump suit. Also for movie purposes, aged/darker uniforms look better on film. I make several ww2 short films. www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7gT1hOfa2M

But for that price? Thats sucha good deal. If ur like me and ur poor, than I would go for it. Even if its chinese crap, it still gets the job done. I have a few chinese rerpos, and i aged them to take away the yellow repro khaki color.

Honestly i think WW2 airsoft authenticity standards should be pretty low. I airsoft alot with modern guys (im always wearing ww2 no matter what) and they always tell me i wish i could do ww2 or vietnam but i heard its expensive. Honestly you could create a WW2 Style look a like uniform for Allies or Axis pretty easy
I have to resort to these cheap impressions cuz i make ww2 movies and i cant afford four m42 jump uniforms.
This my opinion for authenticty standards...
Basic Gi -M65 Field Jacket ($20 ebay surplus stores) or Wool Shirt/hbt shirt -Green pants or look alike wool trousers (thrift store 10 bucks) -leggings $15 -lookalike roughouts, service shoes, vietnam boots painted brown (20 bucks) -pistol belt (10 bucks) -M1 Helmet (20 - 30) stay away from pre kevlar chinstrap 1980s helmets can remove if necessary Germans -m43 cap, spanish helmet, (30 bucks) -swedish tunic, east german tunic, grey bdu with insignia (20) -post war suspenders belts canteen sets (30 ebay) -pants (10 bucks thrift store) -black boots (20) -german gaiters (15)
This is just an opinion, id rather see a ton of guys wearing this than modern m4 sprayers.

King arms is better. Its pretty much an upgraded version of the cybergun. Higher rate of fire and accuracy. Its more sturdier also. My buddy has one. However i think the Tokyo Marui thompson is the best.

haha ive had this question for along time. I just baught a new US jump uniform and tommorow its raining so im gonna slide around in the mud and run through puddles weeee hah. But there are ways of aging gear and uniforms without having to actually jump in mud. You can create a mix of water, mud, and shaven charcoal and spread it around ur uniform. Heres a thread i posted along time ago with the same question. ww2aa.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=impressions&action=display&thread=7466

I did some research on this unit and they are pretty bad@ss, so I was thinking of making a FSSF impression. These guys were pretty legit. They mostly carried Thompson SMGs and used the rare m1941 Johnson lmg. Just wondered if you guys had any thoughts or any impressions on these guys. Also does any1 know what exactly they wore? It looks like they wear a mix of m1943 and m1941 jackets at anzio, but idk what kind of pants they wore. Wool trousers or Mountain trousers? Here are some pretty cool pics... The FSSF patch. FSSF guys at the Anzio beachead preparing for a night patrol. Notice how one of the soldiers with the Tommy gun carries his 30 round mags. FSSF soldier at Anzio. FSSF troops in Italy. FSSF troops being bried for another mission.
